The secondary school, which is attended by 1,800 pupils from 11 to 18 years old, is soon to benefit from several new buildings after it received funding from the ‘Building Schools for the Future’ scheme.
New facilities will include a theatre hall, gymnasium and floodlit sports courts which will be open to the public as well as pupils. The new college infrastructure will be constructed to be as close as possible to being a carbon neutral site, using cutting edge environmental and ecological systems to reduce CO2 emissions.
In trying to achieve an eco-friendly status, Crane Fluid Systems’ isolating and commissioning valves have been selected as part of the Building Management System. They will play a vital role in managing the energy usage and avoiding energy wastage in the school. Crane Fluid Systems has a large range of quality commissioning valves which are often preferred for their weight and space saving. Please click for PDF version.
