E-PICV & Energy Valve

Crane Fluid Systems Electronic Pressure Independent Control Energy Valve (E-PICV+) controls the heat transfer, optimises delta T and automatically regulates flow, regardless of pressure fluctuations in the system, through the use of pressure transducers, temperature sensors and a high-speed actuator. This combination with the addition of Modbus connectivity also allows for energy monitoring and data exchange with the BMS.

The E-PICV has no diaphragm so flow is regulated independently from pressure E-PICV+ electronically, utilising the integrated pressure transducers. The E-PICV is capable of sharing indicated flow rate data with the BMS, the E-PICV+ gives the additional benefit of Delta T and power management as well as energy monitoring. This enhanced data and functionality enables operational insight, leading to improved system efficiency and reduced operating costs.

The user can set the flow rate and commission the valve via the BMS, significantly reducing onsite commissioning.
