Crane Fluid System valves have been specified and installed at multiple stadiums for the Qatar World Cup.
These include our Balancing Valves, Ball Valves, Butterfly Valves, Check Valves, Gate Valves and Strainers.
Stadium 974 in Doha is one of the new stadia to benefit from our technology. It takes its name from the 974 recycled shipping containers used to create the venue, becoming the first temporary stadium ever used in the FIFA World Cup.
With a capacity for 40,0000 the stadium received a four-star rating from the Global Sustainability Assessment System (GSAS). If Uruguay’s bid to host the 2030 World Cup is successful the venue will be dismantled, transported and rebuilt in Maldonado.
