In London's Blackfriars Bridge Road, the Palestra, a 12-storey, 300,000sq ft office development is the latest ambitious project in the burgeoning South Central business district. This £140m, high-specification building is designed by international award-winning architects Alsop Architects and is scheduled for completion Spring 2006.
Crane Fluid Systems have supplied 1400 of their Z3000 Dominator compact flow management systems to control the heating and cold water systems throughout the building to Bedford Fabrications who are connecting the Dominators to the 700 fan coil units as part of the off-site prefabrication programme. In addition Crane have supplied all the valves to be used on the plant rooms of this landmark project. These include a full range of commitioning valves, check valves and strainers supplied to the fabricators who are constructing the plant rooms off-site.
