More than one thousand Crane Pro-Tee Valves have been supplied as part of the mechanical services package at a high specification office development in the heart of London’s Mayfair.
The mechanical services for the development in Mayfair’s Stratton Street was designed and installed by mechanical and electrical contractors NG Bailey. Launched last year, the Pro-Tee combines the ball valve, tee, union, nipple and iron to copper adapter components of a typical branch assembly into one compact unit, saving space, time and money.
With numerous fancoils installed on the project, NG Bailey found that the Crane Pro-Tee proved the most cost-effective solution for isolating the flushing bypasses.
Crane D931, D933 and DM940 balancing valves were also used on the project, selected from the extensive range of valves manufactured by Crane.
The project is scheduled for completion in April 2002.
