An exciting project in the North West will be using Crane Fluid Systems products. The quality and stock availability of Crane FS valves were key reasons for Crane Fluid Systems valves winning the project in Manchester, England.
The project is being undertaken by The Seashell Trust and will see 17 state of the art 4-bedroom houses built for children and adults with complex and severe learning disabilities who attend the Royal School and Royal College of Manchester.
Crane FS was involved in the project from an early stage and met with the Project Manager at Beverley Clinton Morris (BCM), the Mechanical Consultants, to review the drawings and schematics.
The mechanical contractor is CPL Plumbing & Heating and they used Crane FS Double Regulating Valves (DRV), commissioning valves and general valves in the first phase, and are working with us now to agree the second phase.
Graham Aspden, Commercial Director for CPL Plumbing & Heating, said: “Crane valves were selected due to their quality and excellent stock availability through their local distributors, Smith Brothers Stores and Ashworth.“
The charitable trust provides children and adults with complex and severe learning disabilities with a creative, happy and secure environment.
It is home to the Royal School Manchester, a non-maintained special school, and the Royal College Manchester, an independent specialist further education college. Both school and college are residential and cater for students from the age of 2 to 25.
